Les Fleet Foxes viennent de Seattle, mais on ne l’aurait pas deviné en écoutant leur premier album. Aux premières secondes, a capella, on se croit transporté au XIXe siècle dans une petite église baptiste des Appalaches, pendant l’office.(…)

1 – MGMT Oracular Spectacular
	Annoncé par une pluie de tubes, l’album de MGMT est une somme de chansons à tiroirs et de refrains étoilés. Une inclassable fête païenne.
La première rencontre avec Oracular Spectacular fut une telle baffe que, encore pris dans les vapeurs enivrées du KO, on cherche nos qualificatifs. Car la langue française a ses limites, mais pas celle de MGMT : comme leurs copains de Yeasayer, Vampire Weekend ou Ra Ra Riot (Brooklyn est décidément une terre d’astronautes), c’est quelque part dans les étoiles, peut-être artificielles, que les deux jeunes Américains ont appris leur grammaire et leur vocabulaire. Ils sont infinis, inédits, parfaitement fascinants.(…)
